Classroom courses are $99 and blended courses are $89 plus the online add-on. Every course includes a two-year certification card, and group rates apply for five or more participants.

Classroom covers everything in one in-person session with no prep work. Blended lets you complete the cognitive portion online at your own pace, then attend a shorter in-person skills session. Both produce the same certification card.

Heartsaver CPR & AED is the general course for the public and most workplaces. Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED is for anyone caring for children. BLS is the provider-level course for healthcare professionals and first responders. If your employer named a course, follow that; otherwise call and we will tell you which one fits.

Yes. Group rates apply at five or more participants, and on-site training is usually cheaper per person than sending staff out individually.

Contact us to arrange payment. We invoice organizations and can bill a facility directly for group sessions.

Two years. Both classroom and blended formats produce the same two-year American Heart Association card.

Certification is issued on completion — you leave the class certified rather than waiting weeks.

Yes. Our courses follow current American Heart Association guidelines and standards.

Usually not. AHA certification requires a hands-on skills check with an instructor. Online-only certificates with no in-person skills session are commonly rejected by employers, hospitals and licensing bodies.

Take the course again. There is no grace period on an expired card, and most employers treat a lapse as a compliance issue immediately. Book 60 to 90 days before expiry to avoid it.

Yes, in every course. If your workplace has an AED, your staff should be trained on it regardless of what the minimum requirement says.

Yes. We bring instructors, manikins and all training materials to your workplace, clinic, school or center anywhere in Madison, Dane County and South-Central Wisconsin.

Five or more makes on-site training cost-effective. Smaller teams are still welcome — contact us and we will work out the best option.

It depends on the course and format. Blended sessions are shorter because the cognitive portion is done beforehand. We will confirm the time when you book.

Yes. We schedule around your operations, including evenings and weekends, so you do not have to pull a whole department off the floor at once.

Yes, for any of our courses, with instruction paced to you and scheduling that fits around your availability.

Yes. Certified child care operators and caregivers must complete department-approved infant/child CPR training, and pediatric first aid is now a separate requirement. Our guide to the Wisconsin childcare rules covers the deadlines in detail.

It depends on the certificate. If it carries an expiration date, renew by that date — AHA cards last two years. If it has no expiration date, Wisconsin requires renewal every year.

OSHA requires trained first aid responders on site when medical care is not in near proximity — roughly 3 to 4 minutes for workplaces where serious injury is possible, up to 15 minutes for lower-risk offices. Some industries and state rules go further.

Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED covers infant/child CPR and pediatric first aid in one session, satisfying both requirements at once.

Comfortable clothing you can kneel and move in. Training involves floor work on manikins. We provide everything else.

Only for blended courses, where you complete the online portion before the skills session. Classroom courses require no preparation.
